Headstone for Rorke's Drift defender James Taylor

Tim Needham is arranging for a new headstone to be erected over the sadly unmarked grave of Rorke's Drift defender Lance Sergeant James Taylor 2/24th, in Trefnant Holy Trinity churchyard, Denbighshire, LL16 5UF.

The re-dedication ceremony is planned to take place at 1100am on Saturday 15th June, during which the new memorial will be officially unveiled; this will take place in the presence of local dignitaries, descendants of James Taylor, representatives of Service organisations/charities, the local press and other interested parties.
